# Connecting PayPal to WooCommerce with the Payment Plugins Extension

This guide walks through installing the Payment Plugins for PayPal for WooCommerce extension, connecting your PayPal account, and enabling PayPal as a payment method on your store.

## Install the PayPal Payment Plugin

1. In the WordPress dashboard, go to **Plugins** on the left side.
2. Click **Add New**.
3. Search for **PayPal**.
4. Choose the plugin from **Payment Plugins**.
5. Click **Install Now** and then **Activate**.

## Connect Your PayPal Account

1. In the WordPress dashboard, go to **WooCommerce → PayPal by Payment Plugins**.
2. Open its **Settings**.
3. Next to **Connect to PayPal**, click **Click to connect**.
4. Log in to your PayPal account. If you don't have an account yet, create one first and then come back to this step.

> Make sure you're using a **business** PayPal account, otherwise this will not work.

5. Once logged in, click **Agree and connect**.
6. Scroll down and click **Save changes**.

## Enable PayPal as a Payment Method

1. Open the **Payments** tab at the top of the plugin settings.
2. Scroll down to find the available payment options.
3. Activate **PayPal** at the bottom of the list.
4. Save your changes.
