# Connecting Stripe to WooCommerce with the Payment Plugins Extension

This guide covers installing the Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce extension, connecting a Stripe account, switching from test to live mode, and running a connection test.

## Install the Stripe Payment Plugin

1. In the WordPress dashboard, go to **Plugins** on the left side.
2. Click **Add New**.
3. Search for **Stripe**.
4. Choose the plugin listed as **Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce** by Payment Plugins.
5. Click **Install Now** and then **Activate**.

## Connect Your Stripe Account

1. Go to **WooCommerce → Stripe by Payment Plugins**.
2. Click **Settings**.
3. Click the **Click to connect** button.
4. Enter the email address of your Stripe account and click **Continue**.

> If you don't have a Stripe account yet, create one first and then come back to this step.

5. Enter your Stripe password and click **Login**.
6. You should receive a verification code on your phone. Enter that code and click **Connect**.

## Switch to Live Mode and Test the Connection

1. Change the mode from **Test** to **Live**.
2. Click **Connection test**.
3. You should see the message "Connection test to Stripe was successful." Click **OK**.
4. Scroll down and click **Save changes**.
